2018, BEng Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering
Secondary School: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, Delhi, India
Following a childhood interest in how technology impacts learning, before coming to HKUST, I interned with the Research Team at Maximum Childhood. I was struck by the children's ability to self-learn, despite underdeveloped reading skills, interface and problem-solve with applications facing new territory without fear of making mistakes. Behind the magic mirror of our touch screens, a network of creative minds developing tools that are transforming learning for children everywhere. From that time my dream was to become a Learning Engineer. HKUST enhanced this passion for engineering and introduced me to new fields in the area of engineering. Besides this, HKUST has also provided me a platform to get involved in various other activities with the goal to learn, to impact, to deliver, to lead and to meet new people with diverse cultures and backgrounds. I believe my enthusiasm, passion, perseverance, and commitment have enabled me to serve my university in a supportive role and in turn lead to the academic success of self and other students.
