Orientation for Exchange Students

Two orientation sessions are organized by the School of Engineering and the University for incoming exchange students prior to the start of each semester. The sessions are to help students settle down in Hong Kong and familiarize themselves with HKUST's learning environment.  

Global Student Programs Office (GSPO)

The Global Student Programs Office (GSPO) maintains a website, which provides useful information on living and studying in Hong Kong and HKUST. Topics include Hong Kong's climate, food, public transportation, money matters, insurance for HKUST students, visa matters, etc.

Accommodation and Hall Life

There are various halls of residence and university apartments. Inbound exchange students are strongly encouraged to stay at the University arranged halls and share their university life with local students.
