HKUST President Prof. Wei Shyy was bestowed with the distinction of Officer in the National Order of the Legion of Honour by Mr. Alexandre Giorgini, Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau on behalf of the President of the French Republic.
Alumnus Prof. Yeung Sai-Kit is the first from HKUST to join the editorial board of ACM Transactions on Graphics, a top-ranked journal in the computer graphics field. His three-year term started in October 2021.
