Biography

Prof. Mojun CHEN obtained his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2020, M.S. degree in Modern Mechanics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2015, B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Air Force Engineering University in 2012. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Hong Kong before joining the Smart Manufacturing Thrust, Systems Hub, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou).

His research interests include micro/nanoscale 3D printing, optoelectronics, micro/nanorobotics, and wearable devices. Over the past five years, he has authored/co-authored more than 14 peer-reviewed journal papers, including Advanced Materials (front cover), Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Small (frontispiece) wherein he is the first author. He was a recipient of 2019 Best Poster Award from Workshop on Electronic Materials and Devices (HKU), 2014 Young Researcher Award from the 4th International Conference on Experimental Fluid Mechanics (3 winners), 2013 Outstanding Paper Award from the 9th National Conference on Experimental Fluid Mechanics.
